Türkiye’s leading missile and rocket systems manufacturer, ROKETSAN, presented its advanced weapon technologies at the 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025).
Standout innovations included the GÖKBORA beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile; the AKATA, a submarine-launched version of the ATMACA cruise missile; the hypersonic TAYFUN Block-4 ballistic missile; the EREN loitering munition; the 300ER supersonic air-launched missile; and the ŞİMŞEK-2 satellite launch system.
ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci emphasized that growing regional military crises have highlighted the critical need to strengthen Turkey’s defense capabilities.
İkinci stated, “We are expanding our inventory with a broad range of systems—from air defense and naval platforms to anti-tank missiles and UAV munitions. Our primary objective is to equip the Turkish Armed Forces with state-of-the-art, domestically developed technologies.”
He also noted that ROKETSAN is presenting more than 60 advanced defense systems, including six new products unveiled specifically for IDEF 2025.
Key systems introduced by Roketsan at IDEF 2025:
GÖKBORA Beyond-Visual-Range Air-to-Air Missile
