ASELSAN developed the CENK 350-N, a state-of-the-art fixed-face AESA radar system, to meet the demanding requirements of modern naval platforms. Unveiled during the 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), the radar quickly secured its first export contract, underscoring ASELSAN’s growing global footprint in defense technology.

The CENK 350-N is a two-axis AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) radar built on a Gallium Nitride (GaN)-based solid-state architecture. It is capable of 4D tracking, including range, azimuth, elevation, and speed. The radar delivers high-resolution detection, tracking, and classification of both airborne and surface targets, enhancing situational awareness for naval combatants.

ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol described the system as “a radar that sees everything,” noting its role in providing naval platforms with a “steel dome” of protection. The system operates in the X-band and is optimized for wide-area surveillance, multi-target tracking, classification, and fire control operations.

The system’s capabilities include the simultaneous tracking and identification of threats such as aircraft, missiles, and ships, making it a vital asset in real-time maritime threat evaluation. It also features electronic countermeasure (ECM) capabilities, digital signal processing, and fast response times, ensuring robust performance in high-threat environments.

The CENK 350-N is a cutting-edge system that boasts long-range tracking and sophisticated target recognition capabilities, providing the Turkish Navy with a significant boost in surveillance and defense operations. ASELSAN’s latest radar innovation plays a key role in force projection, early warning, and multi-domain situational awareness.

Promotional materials released at IDEF 2025 showcased realistic simulation footage, demonstrating the radar’s high efficacy across a variety of target profiles.
