ASELSAN has signed new contracts totaling €1.1 billion with the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) of the Republic of Türkiye, expanding its ongoing serial production projects for advanced air defense systems.

In a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), ASELSAN announced:“ASELSAN and the Presidency of Defense Industries of the Republic of Türkiye have signed new contracts worth a total of €1,122,139,260, in addition to the ongoing serial production projects for air defense systems. Deliveries under the contracts will be made between 2027 and 2030.”

The new contracts not only strengthen ASELSAN’s financial outlook but also align with Türkiye’s strategic objective of expanding its indigenous air defense capabilities. With deliveries scheduled from 2027 to 2030, production, testing, and logistics operations are expected to accelerate across ASELSAN’s facilities in the coming years.

When compared to the previously signed €1.65 billion contracts, this new agreement is regarded as an extension that introduces an additional serial production line to existing programs. Analysts also highlight its potential to enhance the localization of critical components, boost technology transfer, and further solidify ASELSAN’s position as a key player in Türkiye’s defense modernization efforts.
