Turkey’s defence and aerospace industry reached unprecedented heights in 2024, with exports totalling $7.154 billion – an increase of 29% compared to the previous year. This achievement not only set a new record, but also exceeded the annual target of $6.5 billion by 11%.
Turkey exported defence and aerospace products to 180 countries, demonstrating its growing international influence and technological advancement.
Exports included a mix of NATO-compliant systems, advanced technologies and service-based solutions, demonstrating Turkey’s ability to compete globally.
Haluk Görgün, President of Defence Industries, thanked everyone involved and said:
