The Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced the successful completion of another test firing of the HİSAR-O Medium Altitude Air Defense Missile System at the Aksaray Hisar Test Firing Range.

In an official statement, the ministry said, “The Hisar-O launch was successfully carried out at the Hisar Test Firing Range by the Air Defense Command.”

The Air Defense Command executed the launch successfully, and the HİSAR-O systems have continued to enter service since the beginning of the year. With the latest deliveries, the second batch of systems has officially joined the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) inventory.

The HİSAR-O+ system features a distributed architecture, offering flexible deployment and rapid response capability. It consists of a Fire Control Center (FCC), medium-altitude missile, air defense radar, electro-optical tracking system, early warning center interface, Link-16 integration, and a missile transport and loading system.

gration of RF seeker-equipped missiles has further enhanced the system’s performance. Field tests completed in August 2023 confirmed significant improvements in range and accuracy.
RF-guided missiles deliver high precision against maneuvering targets using radar homing technology and are effective against both air and surface threats, including naval defense applications.
